Role Overview

Azure Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Azure Resource Management

• Deploy and configure Azure services: VMs, App Services, Storage, Networking, Databases, AI/ML
• Manage identity and access using Azure AD and RBAC
• Ensure secure, cost-effective deployments across Dev/Test/Prod

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Design and maintain infrastructure using

  Terraform

• Automate provisioning and scaling of cloud resources
• Maintain version-controlled IaC repositories

Power Automate & Licensing

• Build and manage Power Automate flows
• Advise on licensing tiers and recommend optimal plans
• Integrate flows with Azure and third-party platforms

Azure AI & Innovation

• Deploy and manage services like Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Document Intelligence, AI Search, Azure ML
• Collaborate with Data Science teams to scale AI workloads

Security & Monitoring

• Implement security best practices, private endpoints, and managed identities
• Monitor resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Ensure compliance with internal and industry standards

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with DevOps, Data Science, and App Development teams
• Provide documentation, training, and technical support

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Azure experience
• Proven track record in cloud architecture and deployment

Technical Skills

• Azure resource setup and management
• Terraform or equivalent IaC tools (Bicep, ARM templates)
• Power Automate setup, licensing, and integration
• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Networking, security, and governance in Azure

Certifications (Preferred)

• AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate
• AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• AI-102: Azure AI Engineer Associate

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
