Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Past experience in legacy modernization/cloud migration of old VB.NET/.NET/desktop-based applications.
Proven experience designing systems using microservices architecture.
Hands-on knowledge of micro frontend strategies (e.g., Module Federation, Webpack, Single-SPA).
Strong programming background in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, or similar stacks.
Experience with any of middleware platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or similar tools for event-driven architectures.
Experience with any of workflow and orchestration tools such as Camunda, Apache Airflow, Azure Logic Apps, or others.
Expertise in designing and implementing message-driven systems and event streaming using Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
Understanding of workflow automation and orchestration patterns, including BPMN and DMN standards.
Experience integrating middleware and orchestration tools with microservices and distributed systems.
Familiarity with API Gateways, REST/GraphQL, and distributed systems.
Data exchange and integration best practices and patterns on traditional on-prem” networks and cloud networks (Azure and GCP).
Experience delivering technical solutions in the insurance industry and acting as an SME in topics such as Products, Claims, and Settlement.
Able to understand and query enterprise-size Oracle databases to quickly diagnose issues and make recommendations to delivery teams.
Automation of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (ADO) and/or Jira across different technologies.
Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Able to read through repositories of .NET, Java, and PL-SQL code to review and/or understand the intention of the code.
Exposure to and passion for new and emerging technologies and trends.
