Role & responsibilities

• Guest consultation:

  Conduct consultations to assess guest health, lifestyle, and dosha imbalances through interviews and diagnostic techniques.

• Personalized treatment planning:

  Develop customized wellness plans and treatment programs based on Ayurvedic principles.

• Therapy administration:

  Provide and supervise treatments like Ayurvedic massages, Panchakarma therapies, and other wellness procedures.

• Guest education:

  Inform guests about the purpose and benefits of their treatments to ensure understanding and manage expectations.

• Operational management:

  Oversee the day-to-day operations of the wellness center, including staff supervision, scheduling, and maintaining hygiene standards.

• Inventory management:

  Manage the inventory of oils, herbs, and other products used in treatments.

• Record keeping:

  Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including consultation notes and treatment outcomes.

• Staff training and management:

  Train and supervise spa therapists and other staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience:

  Proven experience as an Ayurvedic practitioner, with a preference for experience in a spa or resort setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English often required.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment.
• Patience and the ability to provide a calming, comfortable environment for guests.
• Knowledge of Panchakarma therapies is often required.
