As an Ayurveda Doctor at Yuvrit Ayurveda, your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting initial patient assessments using Ayurvedic diagnostic techniques and standardized questionnaires. - Documenting medical history, including Ayurvedic and biomedical health markers. - Assisting the senior doctor in explaining diagnoses and treatment plans to patients, addressing their questions and concerns. - Serving as the primary contact for post-consultation queries related to therapies, diet, and medication. - Educating patients on Ayurvedic principles, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health practices. - Providing guidance on diet, exercise, and stress management following Ayurvedic practices. - Ensuring a patient-centered ethical approach focused on positive health outcomes. The ideal candidate for this role should have: - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree or higher. - Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Ayurvedic physician treating patients, particularly in General Medicine or Kaya-Chikitsa. - Valid license to practice Ayurvedic medicine as per the medical council regulations. - Compassion and empathy for patients. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to perform or supervise Panchakarma therapies. - Proficiency in English and at least one of the regional languages such as Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, or Tamil. - Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Ayurveda is a value-add but not a strict requirement.
