Position: Business Development Manager Location: Hyderabad Department: Business Development & Partnerships Reports To: City Manager About the Role We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive partner acquisition, service expansion, and revenue growth for our on-demand services platform. You will be responsible for building a strong supply base of service professionals (plumbers, electricians, cleaners, beauty experts, fitness trainers, etc.), forging strategic partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities to strengthen our market position. Key Responsibilities Partner Acquisition & Onboarding Identify, pitch, and onboard high-quality service professionals/vendors. Ensure proper training, compliance, and service quality standards are met. Business Growth & Market Expansion Drive revenue growth by expanding service categories and city penetration. Analyze competitor activities, customer needs, and market trends to identify growth opportunities. Work with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns to attract customers. Account & Relationship Management Build strong relationships with service providers and ensure their long-term engagement. Act as a bridge between service professionals and internal teams (operations, tech, customer support). Operational Excellence Monitor service performance, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics. Suggest process improvements for smoother partner and customer experience. Strategic Partnerships Collaborate with corporates, real estate companies, housing societies, and institutions to drive bulk service partnerships. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 2–6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales (experience in e-commerce, startups, or service platforms preferred). Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. Data-driven approach with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Comfortable with fieldwork and meeting service providers on-ground.
