Axis Operators (CNC Milling Operators)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for efficiently operating 3, 4, or 5-axis CNC milling machines. Your role will involve setting up the machine, setting tools and offsets, and understanding or loading programs. Additionally, you will inspect finished parts for critical dimensions and ensure adherence to tolerances using measurement instruments. Your technical interpretation skills will be put to use as you read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications. It will be your responsibility to maintain production efficiency, keep logs, and ensure a clean and safe work area following the 5S principles. Key Responsibilities: - Efficiently operate 3, 4, or 5-axis CNC milling machines - Set up the machine, tools, and offsets - Inspect finished parts for critical dimensions - Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications - Maintain production efficiency and ensure a clean work area following 5S principles Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with CNC machine operation and setting, preferably in a specific industry like aerospace - Proficiency with various machine controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, and measurement instruments - Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings - High attention to detail for achieving precision - Physical strength and stamina to stand for long periods and lift parts - Technical certification (e.g., ITI), diploma, or bachelor's degree in a related field is often preferred Additional Details: N/A Role Overview: You will be responsible for efficiently operating 3, 4, or 5-axis CNC milling machines.
