You are a skilled and detail-oriented Axial Component Auto Insertion Machine Engineer who will be joining a manufacturing engineering team. Your role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting axial component auto insertion machines such as Universal, Panasonic, or equivalent brands. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, analyzing machine errors, optimizing insertion programs, and supporting production teams in resolving machine issues and improving cycle times. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering and quality departments to drive continuous improvement and train operators and maintenance personnel on proper equipment usage and upkeep. Key Responsibilities: - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot axial component auto insertion machines (e.g., Universal, Panasonic, or equivalent). - Perform preventive maintenance and ensure machines operate at peak performance. - Analyze machine errors and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. - Optimize insertion programs and feeder setups to maximize throughput and quality. - Support production teams by resolving machine issues and improving cycle times. - Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to drive continuous improvement. - Train operators and maintenance personnel on proper usage and upkeep of equipment. Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of experience with axial component insertion machines. - Strong understanding of electronic assembly processes and IPC standards. - Proficient in reading technical drawings and machine schematics. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Universal Axial Insertion Machines. - Familiarity with SMT and through-hole PCB assembly processes. - Universal 8xt dual span. - 6380B.
