Job Description

As an AWS Enterprise Architect in the Cognizant AWS Business Group, you will play a crucial role in transforming enterprises by leveraging deep industry expertise, solutions, and AWS services. Your responsibilities will include designing highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures to address customer business problems and drive the adoption of Cognizant Offerings for AWS. Working closely with Cognizant customers, Sales Specialists, and Service Lines, you will drive revenue growth across various customer segments, focusing on infrastructure, application, data, and modernization. Key Responsibilities: - Formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS and Cognizant Offerings in collaboration with sales teams - Ensure success in modernizing and migrating applications, data, and IoT on AWS - Educate customers on the value proposition of Cognizant offerings for AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions for successful cloud deployment - Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers using or considering AWS - Share best-practice knowledge within the Cognizant architect community - Contribute to Cognizant blogs, whitepapers, and webinars - Build relationships with technical individuals within customers to promote cloud advocacy - Act as a technical liaison between customers and delivery teams Qualifications: - 10+ years of design, implementation, and/or consulting experience with distributed applications or systems architecture - 5+ years of experience in infrastructure/application architecture, database architecture, and networking - 3+ years of relevant experience in technology/software consulting - Experience in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud - Strong presentation skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly - Exposure to micro-services architectures, data lake design, container orchestration platforms, DevOps, and CI/CD - Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer visits and partner events This role requires a dynamic and self-motivated individual who enjoys tackling technical challenges and solving business problems with AWS-based solutions.
