Job Summary:u00A0

You will work in AWS services including Amazon RDS PaaS, serverless technologies and etc. Goal will be to help qualify new AWS Services, provision & maintain Platforms and create CI/CD pipeline to automate entire deployment process.u00A0

This role will have the opportunity to work with AWS PaaS/IaaS services. Our goal is to improve service qualification and management through automation in enterprise level.u00A0

Also responsible to manage cost effective cloud environments, you need to make sure we follow the Lilly security standards while qualifying and automating the services.u00A0

In this role, you will work closely with Lilly SMEs, Cloud Infrastructure team and Self-service enabling team to bring enhancements and automation scopes in the system.u00A0 You need to improve the security of the system by performing the vulnerabilities scanning and timely upgradations.u00A0

You Responsibilities:u00A0u00A0

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Design and Implement CI/CD Pipelines: Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support business applications and services using GitHub Actions or any relevant tool.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Development: Using Cloudformation Templates, or Terraforms to automate infrastructure provisioning. Apply modular and reusable code practices for cloud infrastructure deployment.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Source Code Management & Version Control: Manage Git repositories and branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development). Enforce pull request (PR) approvals, code reviews, and quality gates. Secure GitHub repos using GitHub advanced security.u00A0

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Monitoring, Logging & Observability: Set up AWS Cloudwtach Monitoring, and logs insights or Splunk for platform observability. Define alerting rules and dashboards for performance and availability.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Security, Identity, and Compliance: Understanding of AWS Identity centre for access management and Follow fine-grained IAM access. Periodic upgradations of cloud platforms and infrastructures.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Automation and Scripting: Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts. Create automation for Service provisioning and management through self-service portal.u00A0

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Collaboration with Lilly SMEs: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of platform services.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Performance Optimization and Scalability: Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of cloud-based systems with horizontal/vertical scaling strategies.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Incident Response, Troubleshooting, Operational Support and RCA: Provide L2/L3 operational support for cloud and DevOps environments. Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure outages. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures. Provide timely and effective support to customers on an as-needed basis. Address and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.u00A0

Required Qualification:u00A0

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA or in related technical field.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 At least 3 years of experience in a technical role supporting AWS cloud infrastructure and database administration.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, Neptune, MemoryDB, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, IAM, and CloudWatch.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Proficient in deploying, configuring, and managing AWS database services and optimizing theiru00A0performance.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Experience designing and implementing infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and operational efficiency.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Proven experience in writing complex SQL queries, database performance tuning, and general DBAu00A0responsibilities.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Willingness to work flexible hours, including non-standard shifts, weekends, and holidays as required to support 24/7 operations.
