Aws Devops Engineer

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in programming and development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and development pipelines to support our software development and deployment processes. This role requires a deep understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and modern software delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities:

•             Infrastructure Management: Design and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
•             CICD Pipeline Development: Develop and optimize continuous integration continuous deployment (CICD) pipelines using Jenkins, with a strong emphasis on Jenkinsfile and Groovy scripting.
•             Scripting and Automation: Utilize extensive Linux scripting/programming skills to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
•             Version Control and Collaboration: Implement and manage Git branching and merging strategies to ensure efficient code integration and release processes.
•             Containerization and Orchestration: Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments using Docker and other container orchestration tools.
•             Cloud Services Management: Leverage AWS services for infrastructure deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
•             Framework and Toolset Proficiency: Work with frameworks and tools, including the Symfony framework, to ensure seamless integration and operation within the DevOps ecosystem.
•             Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions and conduct regular system performance analysis to identify and resolve issues proactively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•             Programming Background: Strong foundation in programming and development, essential for understanding complex codebases and automating processes.
•             Groovy Script  Jenkinsfile: Proficiency in Groovy scripting and Jenkinsfile for pipeline configuration and automation.
•             Linux Scripting/Programming: Extensive experience in Linux environments, including scripting and programming.
•             Symfony Framework (Optional): Basic understanding of the Symfony framework, with the ability to integrate and support it within the DevOps processes.
•             Git and Version Control: Expertise in Git, including branching and merging strategies to manage codebase efficiently.
•             Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
•             Cloud Platforms: Solid experience with AWS services for cloud infrastructure management.
•             Containerization: Proficient in using Docker for application deployment and management.
•             Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

•             Certifications: Relevant certifications in AWS, Jenkins, Docker, or other DevOps tools.
•             Additional Tools: Familiarity with other DevOps tools and practices that enhance software development and deployment efficiency.
