AWS DevOps Engineer - Cluster Management

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes clusters to ensure seamless deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting. You will utilize Helm for templating and managing Kubernetes applications. Additionally, you will develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible. Administering and optimizing Kafka clusters to support real-time event-driven architectures will also be a key part of your role. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes clusters - Utilizing Helm for templating and managing Kubernetes applications - Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible - Administering and optimizing Kafka clusters to support real-time event-driven architectures - Automating workflows using GitHub Actions for CI/CD and version control - Managing AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and networking components - Implementing and overseeing Cert-Manager for certificate management in Kubernetes - Ensuring smooth CI/CD pipeline execution and deployment in production environments - Working collaboratively in agile environments using Jira for tracking tasks and workflows - Troubleshooting, monitoring, and enhancing infrastructure security, performance, and availability - Staying updated with emerging DevOps technologies and best practices You should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical fields (or equivalent professional experience) - 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps Infrastructure - Strong expertise in Kubernetes: deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting - Experience in Helm, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Ansible - Kafka administration and event-driven architecture optimization - Proficiency in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.) - Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines in a production environment - Knowledge of Cert-Manager for TLS certificate management - Excellent communication and collaboration skills,
