Role Overview

highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage cloud-based data solutions using

  AWS

  and

  PySpark

  • Implement and optimize

  ETL pipelines

  for large-scale data processing and analytics • Develop robust automation scripts, data transformations, and integrations using

  Python

  • Work closely with data engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions • Implement best practices for

  security, cost optimization, monitoring, and scaling

  in AWS • Manage data ingestion, transformation, and storage across AWS services like

  S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, and Athena

  • Troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and ensure data integrity across distributed systems • Contribute to CI/CD processes for continuous delivery and infrastructure automation

Skills and Competencies

• Strong experience with

  AWS Cloud Services

  (S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, CloudFormation, IAM) • Proficiency in

  Python

  programming and

  PySpark

  for distributed data processing • Experience building

  data pipelines

  and ETL workflows in cloud-native environments • Knowledge of

  SQL/NoSQL databases

  and query optimization • Familiarity with

  Docker

  ,

  Git

  , and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) • Understanding of

  cloud security

  ,

  IAM policies

  , and

  data governance

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills • Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional, Agile teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field

  • 5–10 years of experience in

  cloud engineering or data engineering

  roles • Preferred Certifications:

  AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Data Engineer Associate / Developer Associate
