Manage kitchen staff and front-of-house teams, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Implement and maintain food safety standards in compliance with health regulations. Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, focusing on creativity and seasonal ingredients. Train and supervise employees in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and customer service practices. Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to ensure availability of high-quality ingredients. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development among staff members. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Prepare reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Qualifications Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary experience with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively. Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Previous experience in hotel or barista settings is advantageous but not essential.
