AVP/DVP/Senior Manager Trade finance

Role Overview: As a Trade Finance Process Manager, your main responsibility will be to execute and improve existing processes related to Trade Finance products. You will need to have a strong understanding of Trade Finance products and features, along with knowledge of systems used for processing Trade Finance transactions. Your role will also involve project management for WBO. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and review existing processes and system functionality - Draft notes for management approval, user communication, circulars, etc. - Develop Operational Processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Update Process Manuals, Process Audit Checklist, SOPs, and other reference materials - Implement effective controls to mitigate financial risks - Identify opportunities for automation of manual activities - Design manual/system controls to mitigate risks and gaps in processes - Ensure processes are SOX compliant - Gather and review feedback from various stakeholders for process improvement Project Management: - Understand user requirements for system improvements - Raise concept notes with detailed system requirements - Review requirement documents and Functional Specification documents - Conduct system testing and coordinate with operations users for user acceptance testing - Collaborate with different teams for the roll-out of new systems/enhancements - Communicate details to Operations/Branches Managing Internal/External Entities: - Conduct walkthroughs with internal and external stakeholders on process changes Branch/Ops Support: - Provide support to Operations for process-related clarifications - Reinforce important processes, guidelines, reports for error-free operations - Release advisories to branches and operations Qualification Required: - Graduation and Post-Graduation - Optional: NISM (DOCE), JAIIB/CAIIB - Knowledge of FEMA guidelines - Banking Product and Process Knowledge - Planning and Organizing Skills - Strong Communication Skills - Knowledge of Competition and Current trends in the financial Industry - Vendor/Client Management Experience Required: - Minimum 10-12 years of experience - Exposure to Operations/Product/Policy/Risk - Experience in Banking - Trade Finance domain is preferred,
