AVP Sanctions Advisory

As a Compliance Officer in this role, you will be responsible for supporting the business areas covering Sanctions advisory activities for the Group. Your main focus will be to ensure that efforts are made to align related policies and procedures with regulatory requirements and applicable laws and regulations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of the framework and plan for Compliance in Sanctions to address the Compliance needs and requirements of the related divisions in alignment with laws, rules, and regulations. - Performing Sanction Review activities as a second line of defence. - Providing advisory services in Sanctions to all Business Units on Trade Finance Transactions, Client On-Boarding, post-boarding queries, and dealing with sanctioned nationals/countries. - Offering advisory services on sanctions language, Sanctions related due diligence queries from other FIs, due diligence on customers, trade transactions, vessel tracking, inward/outward remittances, and military transactions to other compliance departments and business units.
