AVP - Risk Analytics Consultant

As a Risk Analytics Consultant at Wells Fargo, you will be involved in various analysis and modeling initiatives within Risk Management. Your responsibilities will include participating in less complex projects, identifying process improvements, reviewing programming models, extracting data, manipulating databases for statistical and financial modeling, and providing recommendations for resolving data reconciliation issues. In this role, you will coordinate and consolidate the production of performance reports, present recommendations for process improvements, exercise independent judgment in policy governance and risk projects, and collaborate with peers, managers, compliance, and various lines of business. Additionally, you will develop SQL codes, create Power BI Dashboards, prepare business requirement documents, lead team deliverables in Agile framework, and analyze queries for performance enhancement. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of Risk Analytics experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. A desired qualification includes a B. Tech (IT)/BSC (CS)/MSC (CS) OR M.B.A with relevant experience. Proficiency in SQL programming, Power BI, data analytics, leadership, team building, and cross-functional partnership skills are essential for this role. Experience working in global teams, advanced desktop skills in MS Office products, researching and resolving data flow issues, and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are also required. The ability to be agile, flexible, perform well under pressure, and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business requirements is crucial.
