Communicate and interact professionally with internal employees, clients, and colleagues. Knowledge of signal flow for audio, video, and control systems. Familiarity with site surveys and audio-visual, mechanical, and electrical facility drawings. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account. Requirements: Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering or a related discipline. 3-5 years of experience as a CAD engineer, with a focus on AV systems design. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) for creating detailed AV system designs. Strong understanding of AV concepts, equipment, and industry standards, including audio systems, video displays, control systems, and signal flow. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and precise CAD drawings and documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with cross functional teams and present ideas and designs effectively. Knowledge of AV installation on practices, equipment mounting, and cabling is a plus.
