Role & responsibilities We are currently seeking experienced BMC Helix ITSM Consultants to join our global delivery team working on high-profile telecom projects across the UK, Europe, and North America. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge BMC Helix technology in a fully remote role, offering above-market compensation and the chance to work with a leading team in ITSM solutions. Currently we are recruiting for two roles (details below). They are both fully remote working roles, with an opportunity to travel to the United Kingdom for meetings and workshops. 1. BMC Helix Migration Consultant: Key Responsibilities: Migration Execution Perform full-scale migrations of BMC Remedy ITSM applications to BMC Helix (on-prem to cloud or on-prem). Utilize Helix Data Manager (HDM) for structured data migration and transformation. Conduct 3-way reconciliation of workflows, CMDB, and foundation data . Development & Automation Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based containerized applications. Deploy and manage Helm Charts for Helix applications. Automate deployment and operational workflows using Jenkins, Groovy, and Ansible . Write Linux shell scripts to support automation needs. Database & Scripting Write, optimize, and manage Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts. Develop stored procedures and manage database jobs. Perform DDL sync and test data migrations across environments. Monitoring & Troubleshooting Analyze and resolve issues using AR System Log Analyzer . Build and maintain Splunk queries for monitoring. Manage Kafka topics and data flow pipelines. Support & Administration Provide L2/L3 support for BMC Helix ITSM (version 21.03 or higher) . Configure and maintain foundation data. Identify and implement custom plugins and EMA settings. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven expertise in BMC Helix ITSM configuration Strong hands-on experience with BMC Helix Discovery and CMDB In-depth knowledge of BMC Remedy ITSM applications , integrations, and customizations Experience with both SaaS and On-prem deployments of BMC software BMC Certification (mandatory) ITIL Certification (mandatory) Ability to work independently and remotely with international clients 2. BMC Helix ITSM Consultant: Key Responsibilities: Configure, implement, and administer BMC Helix ITSM applications Manage and optimize BMC Helix Discovery and CMDB solutions Lead or support SaaS and On-Prem deployments of BMC Software Perform integrations and customizations based on client requirements Collaborate with global teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions Provide expert input on architecture and best practices in ITSM deployment Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions Required Skillset Strong hands-on experience with BMC Helix ITSM and Remedy environments . Deep understanding of AR System workflows and data structures . Proficiency in: Kubernetes , Helm , Jenkins , Groovy , Ansible SQL/PLSQL for Oracle/PostgreSQL Kafka , Splunk , Grafana Familiarity with AR System development , CMDB structures , and ITSM foundations. Good understanding of cloud technologies , networking, and databases. Experience with Windows, UNIX, and LINUX operating systems. Working knowledge of ITIL practices is a plus.
