As an Avatar Designer at Soulverse based in Dehradun, you will play a crucial role in creating expressive and customizable avatars that align with our mission of redefining digital identity. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop unique avatars reflecting diverse styles, emotions, and scenarios, ensuring high quality and performance optimized for digital platforms. Additionally, you will collaborate with product and development teams to seamlessly integrate avatars into our identity solutions. To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Illustration, or a related field, along with proven experience in creating character or avatar designs, preferably in a digital medium. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects is essential, while familiarity with 3D modeling tools like Blender or Maya would be advantageous. Knowledge of animation principles and the ability to create animated avatars are desirable skills. Being inclusive and culturally aware, you will create diverse designs with a focus on character design, facial expressions, and emotional storytelling. Strong communication and collaboration skills are crucial for working effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with projects like Bitmoji or Apple Memoji, as well as an understanding of gamification and programming languages like Unity or Unreal Engine, would be beneficial.
