AV Project Engineer

As an AV Project Engineer at Power Bridge, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of audiovisual projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients, sales teams, and design engineers to understand project requirements, developing comprehensive project plans, supervising the installation of AV systems, and ensuring adherence to design specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and support team members throughout the project lifecycle. Implementing quality control measures, conducting system testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining regular communication with clients will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will monitor project budgets and expenditures, manage resources efficiently, and ensure timely project delivery. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience as an AV Project Engineer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of audiovisual technologies, system integration, and troubleshooting is essential, as well as proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, and industry certifications such as CTS (InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist) would be a plus. Familiarity with control systems (Crestron, AMX) and video conferencing solutions, as well as experience with AV system programming, are preferred skills.
