Automobile Technician

As an Automobile Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal efficiency and safety. Working closely with the service advisor and workshop team, your focus will be on delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, wheel alignment, and brake inspections. - Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and equipment. - Repair or replace faulty parts, components, and systems as needed. - Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and road tests post-repairs. - Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts utilized. - Adhere to standard repair procedures and safety guidelines. - Communicate effectively with the service advisor to provide job status updates and discuss additional repairs. - Ensure proper maintenance of workshop tools and equipment. - Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Qualifications Required: - ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. - Proven experience as an Automobile Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or service center. - Strong knowledge of various automotive systems including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical components. - Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and service equipment. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
