Job Summary: The Automobile Spare Parts Supervisor is responsible for managing the inventory, procurement, and distribution of spare parts in an automotive service center or dealership. This role ensures the timely availability of required parts to support maintenance and repair operations while maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing costs. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems. Receive, inspect, and store incoming spare parts and supplies. Issue spare parts to technicians and mechanics based on repair orders. Coordinate with suppliers for orders, deliveries, and returns. Maintain proper documentation for all parts transactions and stock movement. Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, shortages, or excess stock. Ensure compliance with safety and storage standards. Train and oversee staff in the spare parts department. Resolve internal and customer-related issues regarding part availability and pricing. Support service advisors and workshop teams with technical information and part compatibility. Required Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma in automotive or mechanical field preferred. 3+ years of experience in spare parts management or inventory control (automotive industry). Knowledge of automotive systems and components. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
