Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Python-based automation testing within the automotive infotainment domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing Infotainment systems (IVI/Cluster), along with proficiency in developing and executing Python automation test scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

-- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts in Python for infotainment & Cluster systems.

-- Execute functional, integration of test case scripts for Infotainment Head Units (IVI) and Cluster systems using GIT.

-- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.

-- Prepare and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

-- Ensure test coverage across multiple hardware and software configurations. 

-- Ensure engr does 1 requirement's Test case is designed and scripted for automation in a day.

-- Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to defining test strategies.

-- Continuously enhance automation frameworks and testing processes for efficiency and reliability.

-- Knowledge of FUSA and ASPICE testing and specifications.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience in Automation Testing using Python.

Hands-on experience in testing Infotainment systems (IVI, Cluster) in automotive environments.

Understanding of FUSA section6. and ASPICE SWE2 & 3.; Knowledge of functional and end-to-end testing processes.

Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) is an added advantage.

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management tools (e.g., Jira, GIT, confluence)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Good to Have:

ISTQB certification or similar.
