Job Description


We are seeking a

Senior Automation Test Engineer

with expertise in

Selenium, API testing, and test automation frameworks

. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

Java-based test automation

, hands-on experience with

REST API testing

, and proficiency in

CI/CD integration for automation frameworks

.

Key Responsibilities:


Test Automation & Framework Development



  • Design, develop, and execute

    Selenium-based automation scripts

    using

    Java

    .

  • Implement API test automation using

    Rest Assured/Karate

    .

  • Develop and maintain robust

    test automation frameworks

    using

    Maven, Gradle, or Ant

    .


  • Remote Execution & Continuous Integration

  • Execute tests using

    remote execution tools

    such as

    Sauce Labs, Selenium Grid, and BrowserStack

    .

  • Work with

    TestNG, Cucumber, and JUnit

    to develop and run test cases.

  • Integrate test automation frameworks with

    CI/CD pipelines

    in cloud or on-prem infrastructure.


  • Quality Assurance & Reporting

  • Ensure comprehensive

    test coverage

    for web and API applications.

  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into the

    SDLC

    .

  • Provide detailed test reports and insights to improve software quality.


  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • 4 - 6 years

    of relevant work experience in

    test automation

    .

  • 4+ years

    of hands-on experience with

    Selenium (Java)

    for UI automation.

  • Strong expertise in

    API testing using Rest Assured/Karate

    .

  • Experience with

    remote execution tools

    (Sauce Labs, Selenium Grid, BrowserStack).

  • Proficiency in

    Maven, Gradle, or Ant

    for test automation.

  • Strong knowledge of

    TestNG, Cucumber, and JUnit

    .

  • Experience in integrating automation frameworks with

    CI/CD pipelines

    .

  • Excellent

    verbal and written communication skills

    .
