Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, and REST Assured. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing robust test automation frameworks for both UI and API testing to ensure high-quality software delivery in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing. - Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to establish test strategies. - Write and execute automated test cases following BDD principles. - Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolutions. - Continuously enhance test coverage and automation efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for automating web applications. - Hands-on experience in Cucumber (BDD) for writing feature files and step definitions. - Strong knowledge of API testing using REST Assured with Java. - Solid understanding of Java programming for test script development. - Experience with TestNG/JUnit for test execution and reporting. - Familiarity with Maven/Gradle for managing dependencies and test execution. - Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar pipelines. - Proficient in version control using Git for code collaboration and versioning. - Knowledge of reporting tools such as Allure, Extent Reports, or similar for test reporting. - Basic SQL knowledge for database testing to validate backend data. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and participation in sprint ceremonies.
