Job Description: As a senior member of the software engineering product development division developing Fusion Middleware areas (On-premise and Cloud), the candidate will get involved in defining, developing, debugging and validating software applications and/or automation (Server, API and UI). The candidate is expected to work in the DevOps and Agile methodologies with strong experience on the Container, Dockers and K8S technologies. Candidate will be developing Automation Framework and other advanced utilities and tools to support Container based releases in OCI platform. Primary Responsibilities: We are looking for a self motivated engineer with a desire and ability to learn new products and technologies quickly while being an excellent problem solver with analytical skills. Software Test Development needing strong programming skills and experience in developing software especially using one or more of these - Core Java/Perl/Python. Strong working experience on both Linux and Windows platforms. Strong working experience on Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline with good grasp of Agile and DevOps methodologies Develop UI/API automation using JUnit/TestNG, Selenium etc Work closely with the different engineering teams to analyze, debug and resolve any issues Collaborates effectively with peer engineers, different product teams and product architects to solve complex problems to deliver end-to-end quality in the product stack. Influences development teams to ensure product quality. Influences and communicates effectively with product teams and various stake holders. Required Skills: The engineer should have a good verbal and written communication with few of the below required skills. Strong hands on experience in Java and programming fundamentals. Hands on experience in using Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices development cycles Experience in API/REST and one or more of scripting, build automation tools like Ant, Python, Perl, Maven, Gradle, Groovy is a big plus. Experience on Cloud/Enterprise grade software/complex software systems to isolate & reproduce defects, assess risk. Experience in measuring code coverage using Emma, Jacoco etc
