Job Description: Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust automated test scripts for Web Applications and Mobile Applications using tools like Selenium and Appium.
• Be able to understand the existing framework and develop utilities and Framework components as required.
• Design and implement automated API test suite.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth test execution and deployment.
• Maintain and enhance test frameworks for scalability and reusability.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to test strategy and planning.
• Monitor pipeline executions and troubleshoot failures.
• Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Derive Test Automation strategies to optimize the use of Test Automation suite.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Junit).
• Experience with testing mobile applications and/or web applications.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions).
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like (Postman, Ready API)
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (eg: Git).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good experience with SQL and Database validations.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
