Automation Tester

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with 2-7 years of experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation testing, particularly with Cypress and Playwright. Roles and Responsibility Design and develop automated tests using Cypress and Playwright. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts. Troubleshoot and debug issues found during automated testing. Analyze test results and report defects to the development team. Participate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to collaborative development environments. Job Requirements Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript for writing clean and effective automation scripts. Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Understanding of web application architecture and debugging techniques. Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured. Familiarity with test case management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr. Experience with browser automation, network monitoring, and headless testing. Proficiency in version control systems like Git, GitHub, or GitLab. Thrive in Agile/Scrum teams and enjoy collaborative development environments. Bring sharp problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with Docker and testing in containerized environments. Be a true team player, open-minded, and eager to share and grow. Hands-on ownership or contribution to AI-based features/modules is an added plus. Exposure to privacy, security, or compliance-focused products is beneficial. Comfort working with design tools like Figma and creating quick prototypes using modern AI tools.
