Automation Tester

Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebDriverIO/selenium to ensure the quality of web applications. Able to implement in API automation / Mobile or web automation using browser stack tools Reports implementations using extent reports / html5 / cucumber or any other reporting tools Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application features and create robust test plans. Develop and implement test automation frameworks and strategies. Execute automated tests and analyse results to identify defects and ensure high-quality software releases. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and code quality. Work closely with developers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Monitor and maintain test environments and test data. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and software development. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an SDET (Preferred, not mandatory) or similar role, with a focus on test automation. Strong programming skills in languages such as Javascript and Java, or Python. Expertise in using WebDriverIO/Cucumber for test automation. Experience with test automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO, Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure, Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI. Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field. Certification in test automation or related areas. Experience with performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).Role & responsibilities Notice Period- Immediate to 20 Days
