Automation Tester

As an Automation Tester at Balance Nutrition, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the current mobile app to reach 1 million users in the next 12 months. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web and mobile platforms (Android/iOS). - Implementing and maintaining automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, etc. - Performing functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing. - Integrating test cases with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. - Analyzing test results, reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. - Reviewing product requirements, technical specs, and design documents. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments. - Participating in code reviews, test plan design, and risk assessment. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in automation testing for web and mobile applications. - Proficiency in tools like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress. - Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience with mobile automation using Appium. - Good understanding of RESTful API testing with tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. - Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc. - Working knowledge of version control systems such as Git. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools. Nice to have skills include experience with BDD frameworks, knowledge of performance testing tools, and familiarity with cloud-based device farms. ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus.
