Exciting Opportunity: Automation Testing Engineer ValueLabs is looking for a talented Automation Testing Engineer with 4-8 years of experience (5+ years Selenium/Java preferred) to join our team! Position: QE Experience: 5+ Years Work Location: Hyderabad Notice Period: Immediate joiner. Responsibilities: *Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java, and potentially Playwright. *Execute test cases, analyze test results, and identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA. *Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. *Contribute to the improvement of our testing processes and frameworks. *Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). *Perform performance testing using tools like Postman to assess website and API load performance. *Ensure adherence to Agile development methodologies. *Contribute to the creation of manual test cases and test plans. *Work within a team that leverages technologies like AWS, Newrelic, and potentially others mentioned in the documents. Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. *Minimum of5-8 years of relevant experience in software testing. * 5+ years of hands-on experience with Automation Testing, with a strong preference for Selenium WebDriver and Java. *Deep understanding of web-based applications, user interfaces, APIs, and software architecture. *Proficiency in defining and executing test cases, analyzing defects, and utilizing bug tracking systems (JIRA). *Familiarity with software testing techniques (e.g., black box, white box, regression testing). *Experience working in an Agile development environment. * Knowledge of Performance Testing tools (Postman) for website and API load performance testing. *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
