Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function. Your main focus will be on utilizing quality processes, tools, and methodologies to significantly enhance control, accuracy, and integrity in the testing process. A typical day in this role will involve utilizing Selenium for test automation and developing more predictive and intelligent testing approaches through the integration of automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your responsibilities will include working with Playwright and Karate technologies, leading the development and implementation of automated testing frameworks using Selenium, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, designing and executing test cases, developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts, and continuously improving testing processes and methodologies. In terms of skills, proficiency in Playwright, Selenium, and Karate is a must. Additionally, experience with Automated Testing, a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices, familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools, proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python, and a solid grasp of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies are highly desirable. The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Selenium and a strong educational background in computer science or a related field. A proven track record of delivering high-quality software products is also essential. This position is based at our Pune office, and the candidate is expected to work until 10 PM. A minimum of 15 years of full-time engineering education is required to qualify for this role.,
