Automation Test Engineer (Selenium)

As an Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium, your role will involve designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts in close collaboration with developers, QA teams, and business analysts. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver. - Developing and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. - Collaborating with QA, development, and product teams to identify test requirements and scenarios. - Performing regression testing and ensuring high-quality releases. - Integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). - Tracking, reporting, and validating defects; contributing to root cause analysis. - Maintaining test documentation and ensuring test cases are up-to-date. - Providing recommendations to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience in automation testing with Selenium WebDriver. - Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. - Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
