Automation Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with proven experience in manual testing and automation using Selenium, Java, Python, or similar technologies. This is an exciting opportunity in the Service and Network Assurance Domain. As an individual contributor, you will design, develop, and maintain quality control methods and automation suites. Responsibilities: Develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products in adherence to internal and external standards. Collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand business requirements and design test strategies. Design, develop, and execute software test plans and test cases. Perform functional, regression, solution integration, and performance testing. Identify functional and non-functional issues, report, and track them. Automate repetitive testing tasks using appropriate tools and frameworks. Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality-related aspects. Prepare and present quality metrics and reports to stakeholders. Desired Skills and Experience: Strong programming skills in Python or Java. Experience with automation frameworks such as Robot or similar. Proficiency in UI automation using Selenium with Python or Cypress. Knowledge of JavaScript, Shell programming, and Linux. Experience with Postman Collections, REST APIs, and network knowledge. Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with network simulation tools and API simulation/mocking tools. Proficiency with software version control tools such as GIT. Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs) like VSCode and PyCharm. Understanding of Agile processes and experience using Jira.
