Automation Test Engineer (Only Immediate Joiners)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of automated tests for our financial systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with the development squad to define and implement new automated tests, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable software solutions.

Location : Pune

Experience : 6 to 10 years

In the field of card payment transaction authorization within Worldline in our Area WLP FO Core, we are looking for an Automation Tester.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Develop test solutions for the processing electronic payments based on the Authorization and Switching software suite Worldline Pay Front Office”
• Align on requirements within the squad
• Coordinate and execute test activities with Product Owner; Scrum Master and Developers
• Design and develop and maintain efficient and high-quality automated tests
• Perform first level analysis of why tests fail and direct it for resolution
• Review results of test cases and make adjustments to meet requirements
• Maintain, adapt and upgrade the existing test scenarios
• Document the test cases, for ongoing maintenance and revisions

Skills We Can’t Do Without

• Higher education in information technology or software engineering or a related field
• User Knowledge of UNIX
• Knowledge of git
• User Knowledge of SQL
• General programming knowledge
• General understanding of cloud computing and Docker
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving attitude
• Strong sense for curiosity, proactivity, flexibility, accountability
• Perseverance and ability to cooperate – team working
• Enthusiasm to work in an international, scaled agile team of experts in daily cooperation
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Skills We’d Like

• Knowledge of object orientated programming in C++ (capability of reading code)
• Previous experience within a continuous development environment and working with ci/cd pipelines
• Knowledge of Docker
• Ability to operate in an advanced technically and fast-changing environment
• Experience in the area of electronic payments, in Acceptance/Acquiring or Issuing
• Experience using at least one defect management tool – JIRA, HP ALM, ADO etc.
