Job Description

Location:

Role & Responsibilities

Design and develop automation frameworks for UI and API/microservices from scratch.
Develop and maintain reusable and scalable automated test scripts.
Perform regular maintenance and enhancement of existing test scripts.
Execute automated tests, analyze test results, report defects, and follow up for closure.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to align test strategies with business goals.
Update scripts based on functional/UI changes in releases.
Generate and maintain test execution reports using tools like Extent Reports or Allure.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Strong experience with Java, Karate Framework (mandatory), Selenium, Rest Assured.
Solid understanding of API testing, microservices architecture, and RESTful applications.
Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
Experience working with SQL and writing complex queries.
Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, Bastion Host, VPC, etc.) is a plus.
Exposure to non-functional testing, including performance testing and NFR, is desirable.
Strong logical reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team player with a proactive and dynamic mindset.
