Key Responsibilities: Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using Cypress. Ensure scalability, reusability, and maintainability of test scripts. Test Automation: Develop and execute automated test cases for web applications. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test results and identify root causes for failures. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects in a bug-tracking system (e.g., Jira). Work with developers to resolve issues and retest as needed. Continuous Improvement: Drive best practices in test automation and contribute to process improvements. Stay up to date with the latest trends and tools in test automation. Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of experience in QA Automation, with a focus on web application testing. Proficiency in Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript. Strong knowledge of automated testing principles and frameworks. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). Familiarity with REST APIs and experience testing them. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) is a plus. Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is desirable. Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow) is a plus. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Role & responsibilities
