About the Role
We are looking for a skilled SDET (QA) with a strong background in Manual Testing and Automation using Selenium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, as well as performing manual testing when required, to ensure the highest quality of client products.
Analyse requirements, design test cases, and execute manual and automated tests.
Develop, enhance, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver (C#).
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
Collaborate with developers, product owners/managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
Execute manual testing for scenarios not feasible to automate.
Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA / Bug tracking tools, and perform root cause analysis.
Contribute to test planning, estimation, and reporting.
5+ years of experience in Software Testing with both Manual and Automation expertise.
Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver with C#.
Experience in test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD/TDD).
Proficiency in manual testing techniques, including exploratory and acceptance testing.
Hands-on experience with SQL for database validation.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).
Knowledge/Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar).
Knowledge of API testing using Postman/RestAssured.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Exposure to cloud testing environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
