Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Automation Test Engineer

with strong expertise in the

Banking domain

and

Intraday Liquidity (IDL)

systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, while ensuring quality and stability of critical banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business and functional requirements for
Banking & IDL applications
.
Design, develop, and maintain robust
automation test frameworks
(UI, API, and backend).
Automate test cases using industry-standard tools and scripting languages.
Perform
functional, regression, integration, and system testing
for banking products.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage.
Execute test cases, track defects, and provide detailed reporting of results.
Ensure quality assurance in
Intraday Liquidity monitoring, Nostro reconciliation, and real-time payments
.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives).

Required Skills & Experience:

Domain Knowledge:
Strong exposure to
Banking & Payments
with focus on
Intraday Liquidity (IDL), Nostro accounts, cash management, and cross-border payments
.
Automation Tools:
Hands-on experience with
Selenium, Java, TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit, or similar frameworks
.
API Testing:
Expertise with
Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools
.
Database Testing:
Strong skills in
SQL (Oracle, Hana, or similar)
for backend validation.
Scripting:
Proficiency in
Java / Python
for test automation.
CI/CD:
Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other pipelines for continuous testing.
Defect Management Tools:
JIRA / HP ALM / QC.
Good understanding of
Agile / Scrum methodology
