Automation Test Analyst

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the adherence to all agreed SLAs, taking full ownership of implementing the test automation framework within the specified timescales. Your role will involve applying a strong technical understanding of relevant automated test tools and technologies to develop automated test suites. You will identify and automate manual test cases, continuously improve automated tests with the development of new system features, and contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development. Your duties will also include faster analysis of failed test scripts post-execution, identifying the root cause of failures, raising defects, and tracking them until resolution. Providing test automation metrics and reports to the line manager, maintaining the Test Automation framework and suites, and implementing continuous automated testing integration using Jenkins are key aspects of your role. Participating in daily stand-up sessions, representing QA in release planning, ensuring a balanced distribution of testing tasks throughout iterations, and identifying failures to meet quality standards through testing will be critical responsibilities. You will assess issue severity, escalate as necessary, maintain ownership, and follow up until resolution. Regularly updating team members and the line manager on testing progress and any risks to meeting release timelines or quality standards will be essential. With over 3 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation, proficiency in Playwright and JavaScript, exposure to MCP Server and prompt-based testing workflows, familiarity with AI testing tools, experience with mobile testing frameworks, and hands-on experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms, you will be well-equipped for this role. Your understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle, agile methodologies, hands-on experience in Test Automation Candidate Identification and Estimation, setting CI/CD pipelines, exposure to ecommerce domains, and a positive attitude contributing to a highly motivated environment will be valued. Your ability to work independently with initiative and commitment, meet tight schedules set by your manager, and demonstrate good communication and collaboration skills will be crucial. Maintaining a professional manner and approach at all times, you will play a key role in extending and enhancing the System documentation repository, covering new or changed system aspects.,
