Automation Test Analyst

Job Title: Automation Tester

Job Type: Contract/Full Time

Work Location: Remote/Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 3 PM to 12 AM IST

Core Technical Skills

• Programming Languages

  : Strong proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for writing automation scripts.

• API Testing Tools:

  Expertise in Postman, REST Assured, Karate, and similar tools for REST API validation and automation.

• Automation Frameworks:

  Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Spec Flow.

• CI/CD Integration:

  Ability to integrate automated tests into pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Version Control:

  Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, and branching strategies for collaborative development.

• Database Knowledge:

  SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Testing Expertise

• API Automation:

  Design and execute automated API tests, validate endpoints, and ensure reliability across environments.

• Functional & Regression Testing

  : Strong understanding of test types including smoke, sanity, and integration testing.

• Defect Management:

  Experience with tools like Jira and TestRail for tracking and reporting.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Preferred Skills (not required)

• Cloud & Containerization:

  Exposure to AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes for modern deployment environments.

• Performance Testing:

  Knowledge of tools like JMeter or Gatling.

• Security Testing

  : Familiarity with API security principles and tools.

Skills Required:

• Good analytical skills.
• Able to create test strategy, test plan, test scenarios, test cases.
• Good understanding of Database.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Creative problem solver and quick learner.
• Be able to work independently or collaborate with others on project team
• Good understanding in Confluence, JIRA and JTMF.
• Understanding of QE automation framework development using JAVA and Selenium.
• Experience working in GitHub.
• Practical of automation development tool sets (e.g. Selenium, SOAPUI, TestNG, Maven)
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Understanding of mainstream and emerging technology standards and advancements in software test automation.
• Understanding of continuous integration and delivery
• Experience in working with SQL and Oracle Databases.
