Automation Technician II

Role Overview: As an Engineering Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine to semi-routine experiments for process or R & D engineering under general supervision. Your primary duties will include tending automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation, following production/process specifications, monitoring meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and controls, performing tests to verify production conditions, and reporting any malfunctions or abnormalities to make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. You will also be required to maintain operating records, isolate problems for further analyses, collect and document results, and generate reports. Additionally, you may evaluate new processes, components, products, and systems in conformance with engineering specifications, monitor and verify quality, advise operators, and support lean manufacturing principles.
