As an Automation Specialist at our company, you will be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions to drive process improvements and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing automation solutions to streamline business processes effectively. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities. - Implementing test procedures to ensure functionality and reliability of automation systems. - Monitoring and maintaining existing automation systems for peak performance. - Analyzing performance data to identify areas for continual improvement. - Documenting all automation processes, modifications, and upgrades in detail. - Providing technical support and training to team members on automation systems. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automated systems promptly. - Staying informed on industry best practices and emerging trends in automation technology. - Developing and deploying automation scripts using appropriate programming languages. - Managing and optimizing system resources to improve efficiency of automation tools. - Liaising with vendors and suppliers to source automation technology as required. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of three years of experience in an automation or related role. - Strong programming skills with proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C#. - Experience with automation tools and platforms such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams. - Proven ability to work independently and make informed decisions proactively. - Knowledge of database management and SQL querying is a plus. - Certification in relevant automation platforms or methodologies is advantageous.
