As a Full-stack Engineer at EY GDS, you will have the opportunity to work on designing and implementing modern web applications with a focus on front-end development using Angular or TypeScript. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, deploy, and manage scalable back-end services, APIs, and database integrations that meet business needs and leverage best practices in full-stack development and cloud technologies. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm while contributing to the growth of a new service offering. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Front-End Development:** Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular or TypeScript. - **API Integration:** Collaborate in building and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL services. - **Back-End Development:** Contribute to the development of back-end technologies using Java, Python, or databases (SQL/NoSQL). - **Code Quality:** Participate in code reviews, write tests, and ensure maintainable, high-quality code. - **Deployment:** Work with CI/CD pipelines and support deployment activities. - **Collaboration:** Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality end-to-end solutions. - **Technology Updates:** Stay updated with emerging web technologies and apply best practices in performance and security. **Skills And Attributes For Success:** *Required Skills:* - Hands-on experience with Angular or TypeScript. - Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and ES8+. - Knowledge of state management, component-driven architecture, and responsive design. - Exposure to Java, Python, or for back-end development. - Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL. - Development experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc). - Basic exposure to Docker and containerized deployments is a plus. *Preferred Qualifications:* - **Agile Methodologies:** Familiarity with Agile development practices and methodologies. - **Problem-Solving:** Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. **Education:** - **Degree:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
