Role Overview: You will be responsible for business analysis activities such as requirements gathering, validation, specification development, data analysis, test design, and execution using structured methods or recognized methodology. Your expertise will be in equities, equities derivatives, front-to-back trade flows processing, and a broad range of investment banking products and trade lifecycles. Additionally, you should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to create and maintain technical documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare Functional Specification documents and Test Plans - Conduct impact assessments, gap analysis, and data mappings - Create and maintain technical documentation like Functional Specs and Data Flow Diagrams - Utilize tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), running quality SQLs, and working knowledge around tools like MSSQL and Toad - Communicate effectively with Business IT development teams - Collaborate with technical teams to find technical and procedural solutions - Manage daily tasks independently and possess strong communication skills - Background in project management is a plus Qualifications Required: - 7 years of experience in business analysis - Knowledge of equities, equities derivatives, and investment banking products and trade lifecycles - Strong understanding of data relationships - Experience with Surveillance applications like Actimize, Mantas, SMARTS is preferred - Ability to work closely with technical teams and find solutions - Ability to be independent, creative in problem-solving, assertive, and proactive.
