Job Duties & Responsibilities Automation Software Engineer (PLC / HMI)
for Load Banks
1) Understand load bank application requirement and learn load bank operation for existing load bank models which are using PLC / HMI / Power Meter / LCU / PCM / Ethernet & Wi-Fi router, or any other special boards lie RX monitoring & ECU.
2) Learn existing Delta / Siemens PLC, Exor / Siemens HMI software and any other software required to develop software application to fulfil this Automation software engineer job requirement.
3)Learn Power meter / LCU / ECU / RX board / PCM or any other special devices / boards configuration / software set up / wiring and its use in actual load bank application.
4)Modify / upgrade existing software for load bank Models to add new features as required by application or customer.
5)Understand customer Statement of work / PO / Feature Compliance and Develop new software for new load bank models to meet application & Customer requirement.
6)Communicate & Co-ordinate with customer for any new requirement, after sales service / support / feature addition on PLC / HMI software.
7)Debugging & testing of modified / upgrade / new software on actual load banks and create a bug free clean application software as required to meet software & application requirement by customer.
8)Create Technical Write up (Manuals) for load bank operation describing all software features and screens details.
9)Create schematics for networking / software block diagram / Electrical wiring details in AUTOCAD.
10)Create / modify ATP (Acceptance Test Plan) accommodating all software features testing.
11)Train Load Bank Testing engineer to test load bank using HMI Screen and explain various software feature as described in Technical write up and ATP Document.
12)Travel (if required) to customer sites within INDIA / ABROAD for load bank commissioning / testing / service support etc.
13)To perform any other job duties as Electrical / Automation software Engineer as required by Management.
