Required Technical Skill Set: Selenium, Python, BDD

Required technical skill set:

• Proficient in Selenium and Python/Java (if python is not available). Automating QA for web apps on Selenium with Python/Java script. Developing Selenium automation framework from scratch. Experience Iin Windows SAP GUI automation, Excel automation.
• Experience in BDD with Features - Step Definition, Behave or Pytest, Pom.xml, Test runner, Hooks, log4j, environment properties, selenium support functions, webdriver utilities, pages implementation, page object model.
• At-least 7+ years of experience in Automation with at-least 2+ years of experience in Automation Lead role
• Experience in creating Test automation strategy, plan & Road map, CapacityPlanning
• Contribute to the design & architecture of automation projects.
• Excellent knowledge of Building and creating & maintaining Test Automation Frameworks
• Excellent in Oral, written communication & Documentation Skills
• Assist in on-going process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting is effective and efficient.
• Metrics definitions & System level thinking
• Experience in implementing DevOps and integrate CT pipeline with CI/CD
• Customer Facing Experience is a must.
• Should have very strong analytical skills and should be able to see the test automation architecture as a whole system and not as individual components and should be able to drive to benefit from its contents for future usage.
• Agile/Lean methodologies experience
• Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.
• Leading and helping in the Transformations in QA Space
• Lead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools and templates.
• Work with teams on the automation Strategy and the Tool Kit Selection
• Work with team to educate on the Git standard process and also enhance the git code review process.
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Do Code reviews, verify coding standards are being met.
• Work with peer discipline leads in Development, QA, and Project Management
• Able to shadow developers and document the test Plan, test scripts, test scenarios etc
• Hands-on ability to automate repeated tasks and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructure.
• Assess the problem statement and arrive at the innovative solutions.
• Hands on experience in Mobile testing, mobile automation
• Mentor junior and senior software quality engineers.
• Experience in working with Geographically Dispersed Teams.
• Knowledge on GenAI

Good-to-have:

• Test automation for Api testing with Postman functional.
• Knowledge on UFT and scripting
• Mobile application automation - Appium.
• At least one Database management system.
• Non-functional automation - Jmeter. Jira-Xray

Roles and responsibilities:

Creation of transformational roadmap, and expectation for the team. Gathering, planning, and implementing new innovative solutions for QA and QA automation transformation.
Estimation, design, development, and maintenance of functional and regression and integration test automation scripts. Aligning automation processes, tools, and strategies with business goals.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

Ability to handle multiple parallel deliveries and meet the project deadline.

Creation of automation testing strategy and automation design document.

POC on new tools/frameworks, guiding and leading the team, problem solving for automation issue resolution.
