Job Summary. We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented JavaScript Automation Engineer with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in automated testing frameworks such as Taiko, Gauge, and PactumJS.. This role requires a passion for quality, strong technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset.. The ideal candidate will also be experienced in CI/CD pipelines and performance testing using tools like k6.. Key Responsibilities. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Taiko, Gauge, and PactumJS.. Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements and create comprehensive test strategies.. Design and implement regression, functional, and performance tests for web-based applications.. Participate in code reviews, ensuring that testing standards and quality are maintained.. Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve them.. Contribute to the continuous improvement of test strategies and processes.. Ensure the integration of tests within CI/CD pipelines for faster delivery.. Work with performance testing tools like k6 to assess and optimize application scalability.. Technical Skills Required (Mandatory). Languages & Frameworks : JavaScript, Taiko, Gauge, PactumJS. Testing Methodologies : Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Automation Framework Development. Performance Testing : Hands-on experience with k6. Version Control : Git or equivalent. Preferred Skills (Good To Have). Experience with API testing. Familiarity with modern test design principles and mocking/stubbing strategies. Exposure to Agile/Scrum software development methodologies. Basic knowledge of containerized environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing roles. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
