Automation Engineer

As a Capture Automation Engineer at Smart Data Solutions (SDS), you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance, efficiency, and scalability of the SDS capture automation platform. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Capture Automation Manager to implement augmentation and refactoring plans, monitoring and responding to quality tickets, analyzing automation and quality issues, and executing development and configuration projects. Your contributions will directly impact the fast response and correction of quality and automation issues, leading to improved capture automation systems and consistently meeting or exceeding automation, accuracy, and TAT metrics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work with Capture Automation Manager to devise and implement augmentation and refactoring plans for SDS capture automation platform components - Monitor and respond to quality tickets, engaging in issue research/correction and trend analysis - Monitor and report on automation and quality metrics and trends - Analyze automation and quality issues to identify appropriate remediations - Execute assigned development and configuration projects with on-time completion - Assist with other duties as assigned **Qualifications Required:** - Deep and broad experience and understanding of foundational systems composing the SDS capture automation platform - Ability to creatively conceive and execute automation and accuracy methods - Proficiency in Java Programming, best practices, memory efficiency, CPU efficiency, networking efficiency, and MySQL query and index optimization - At least a 2-year technical degree (or equivalent) - 1+ years of similar experience - Experience with technologies listed in the previous section Smart Data Solutions (SDS) is a technology vendor with 22 years of healthcare experience, specializing in healthcare process automation and interoperability.
