Software Engineer I, Machine Learning

As a Software Engineer I, Machine Learning at Smart Data Solutions, you will be responsible for building, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing machine learning models. Your role will involve designing and implementing new applications that utilize machine learning and related technologies, as well as developing and enhancing machine learning infrastructure. Additionally, you will analyze and automate existing processes using machine learning and investigate and resolve issues related to machine learning processes. Other duties may be assigned to you as necessary. To qualify for this position, you should possess a 4-year degree in computer science or an equivalent field. You must have at least 1 year of experience working with machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), or deep learning concepts. Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or C++ is required. Knowledge of common machine learning, NLP, computer vision, and data science libraries is essential, along with basic relational database knowledge (MySQL) and basic Unix-like operating system knowledge. Experience with Git/Version Control, strong organizational skills, and the ability to analyze processes for improvements are also necessary. Additionally, you should have excellent writing skills for process documentation and communication, the ability to understand and follow written policies and procedures, and prompt communication responsiveness.
